ON STAGE EVENTS

• 3 MINS TO FAME:

  The event that each one of us waits for, that do leave us spell bound. 3 minutes to fame renders perfect opportunity for budding talents who aspire to excel with a difference. Hilarious stand-up comedies, outstanding mimicry, dance acts to Bengali recitation, all the participants try their level best to make their way in to the finals of the event. That is what the 3 minutes to fame is all about, packed with power, wrapped with energy to get you famous in only 3 minutes of time.
  
   

• MEDELY

  This will be a challenging event, where nervousness is obvious, but the one who is the most spontaneous get through. This event not only rocks the students but also brings the teachers a step forward to sing and jive. What’s required in this event is originality and a good knowledge about movies and current affairs.
   

• IMPACT

  Impact demands the exclusive power to speak and express. This is a tough event for the schools, but definitely all the teams try their level best via their expression and speech. Whether it is in Bengali or in English, all the plays are touching and inspiring. Their exceptional performances do leave the judges mesmerized.
   

• FUSION DANCE

  Jiving, twists, break dance, groovy moonwalks blended with Kathak, Bharatnatyam and other forms, Maneuveres the grade of this much-awaited event. Twist and turns, Rock and Roll, hip and hop with a hint of classical dance form into it, creates the perfect fusion of Eastern and Western. Colorful performances along with the props range, power packed with energy, set the stage ablaze. The performances showcase the innovative views present in today’s generation which believes in retaining the originality of culture along with adapting to modern views.
   

• FASHION SHOW

  “A style to rock and a funda to shock,” An event, packed with glamour, glitter and glory. Fashion goes with costumes, without which it is incomplete. More than the ability of the participants to attract minds through their aesthetic is their conceptual themes on which they set the crowd to cheer. The teams carry themselves with confidence, order and attitude. Thus, all the performances are exuberant.
   

• WESTERN BAND

  Events where the participants are prepared to hit the beats and drive the spectators crazy. India is full of young talents, who want to make a mark in future for the music industry and ‘this challenge’, is a platform of its kind. The Guitars, Synthesizers along with the gifted voice of the participants leaves all the judges mesmerized.
   

• UNCONVETIONAL ORCHESTRA
  
  A unique event where, there is music, rhythm, beats and not to forget BANGS! Lots of BANGS!! This is a chance for the naughty kids to bang their mothers’ crockery items, but, for a purpose. Drums and keyboards are replaced by utensils, buckets, jars, tin boxes, boards, glasses and many more. The tunes are superb and the blends are a blast!! It proves that rhythm can be produced by anything, just the effort is required.
  

• EASTERN SOLO

  Easter solo (vocal) is one of the biggest events which see individual participation from students. India is full of young talents, who want to make a mark in future for the music industry and ‘this challenge’, is a platform of its kind. The Ragas, the Dadras, all the classical forms highly captivate the judges. The Tabla, Harmonium along with the gifted voice of the participants is what this event is all about

• MOCK –A-BAND
  
  An exceptional event “Mock-A-Band,” which says, it hardly matter whether you know to play an instrument or not, but you are a ROCKSTAR for the time you are on stage. The performance is about your attire, imitating skills and the overall ambience you create. So all the aspiring stars just ROCK ON!!!

  OFF STAGE EVENTS

   

• CARTOON DRAWING

  Cartoons cannot only bring the world of fantasy in front of us, but can also relate serious topics like, social and political affairs. It is great to see school students highlight many controversies and proves that today’s young generation is well aware and concerned about the daily political activities.
   

• CREATIVE WRITING

  A real serious event where creativity is most important. From articles to poems, enthusiastic and definitely the very creative students, scratch heads, imagine and jot the language of their minds in a span of 40 minutes.
   

• T-SHIRT PAINTING
  
  Participants use their imagination and skills at the T-Shirt Painting Competition. The students’ innovation and exquisite use of colours are simply fabulous. The participants leave the judges as well as the audience spell bound with their creative work.
   

• COLLAGE

  A fun filled event were students get to tear news papers as much as they want to bring out an exclusive meaning on their canvas.this really proves what true creativity is.
   

• MASK MAKING

  It is an innovative idea of putting the young minds to test. The children are asked to make masks out of colourful pieces of paper only. They do a great job in forming varities of mask ranging from that of Egyptians to Classical Dancers.
   

• POSTER DESIGNING

  With the ultimate aim of passing on a strong message at one glance to the spectators, the students do their best to deliver the message through their colorful presentation.

• 
  TUG OF WAR

  This neither is a challenge, between the minds, nor between the performances, rather this event is a war of strength and power. The strength of the participants really shocks the crowd, who get equally excited about the heavy event which goes on for more than 3 long hours. Tug of war definitely proves that, ‘size does matter’. This event involves a lot of spirit and teammanship.
